He said the provincial government has a total budget of 1.19 trillion. He further said that 81% of the total budget was spent on underdevelopment and 19% for development work.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said 81% of the underdeveloped budget includes 20% on education, 19% on finance, 14% on health, 12% on recognition (legal order and justice), 9% on local government, 3% on irrigation and 23 other departments have budgets.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that a joint treatment plant would be set up in collaboration with the World Bank and work on the project would start next year.
