Students can postpone their May / June Cambridge exams until October / November: Shafqat Mahmood

Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced on Monday that students who choose to postpone their upcoming Cambridge exams in May / June due to an increase in epidemic diseases can cycle to October / November for the same fee. Which was paid earlier.

The Minister also published a supporting document provided by Cambridge Assessment International Education, which provides answers to various scenarios that provide facilities to students.

According to the document, in some courses, candidates can take this part in a way that is easy to manage. For example, AS and A level, art and design candidates can produce one piece of work instead of three.

It further said that schools can apply for exemption where they feel that the candidates have not completed the syllabus for any reason.

Candidates can choose not to take the component but can still get the overall syllabus grade.

It added: "Students can get grades if for some reason they miss some exams. Cambridge will give results to all students who have scored at least one subject in the May / June 2021 exam series. Has taken a component. "
