JERUSALEM (Web Desk) - Today (Monday) 250 more Palestinians have sustained serious wounds in major attacks by Israeli police near the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in Jerusalem.
The Palestine Red Crescent Ambulance Service said one of the injured lost eye light, two suffered severe head injuries and two had jaw fractures. Most of the face and eyes were wound with rubber-coated rounds and stun grenades
The clashes occurred on Friday when the Israeli police deployed a large amount of Muslims, as they were performing evening prayers in al-Aqsa during the holy month of Ramadan.
Many worshipers stayed to make a peaceful protest in support of the Palestinians who were facing eviction from their homes on Israeli-occupied lands claimed by Jewish settlers in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem.
