New Delhi: The Cricket Control Council in India (ICB) has announced the postponement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for now, after the escalation of Corona affairs.
According to media reports, four players and three staff members have tested positive in the last two matches, following which the rest of the IPL matches were immediately halted by the organizers. New dates and locations are expected to be announced soon.
It is to be noted that till a few days ago, Indian Cricket Board officials were claiming that the bio bubble prepared for the IPL is the safest place in the world, where Corona cannot enter.
